BENNET -- Arial">A 21-year-old Lincoln man is in stable, but critical condition at Bryan West Campus after he was shot twice at a Bennet home early Wednesday. Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jeff Bliemeister says Jeffery Stotler, Jr. was shot in the upper chest and abdomen at the home of 50-year-old Michael Kinney just after 2am. Bliemeister says their investigation so far has determined that Kinney's 18-year-old daughter, Miranda, had been involved in a domestic dispute with Stotler in Lincoln and continued all the way to the Kinney home in Bennet. The circumstances surrounding what started the fight are still being investigated and a search warrant has been served on the Kinney home. Stotler has been on probation for a previous, unrelated domestic assault case. Kinney was arrested for 1st-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
