Former Nebraska U.S. Democratic Senator and Governor Ben Nelson, is forming a new limited liability company called Heartland Strategy Group. Nelson is teaming up with his former Chief of Staff in the Senate and in the Governor's Office, Tim Becker, along with Barry Rubin who's served as executive director of the state Democratic Party. Nelson will mainly advise, devoting most of his time to his new job as CEO of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
