LCSO Looking Into Another Pet Fraud

The Lancaster County Sheriff is investigating another case of pet fraud. A 48-year-old Lincoln woman was attempting to purchase two English bulldog puppies from an online seller who requested that a $446 Western Union money order be sent to cover shipping costs. After sending the money, supposedly to Casper, Wyoming for the charges to Skywest Animal Airlines, the woman received no flight information for the shipment. She became suspicious and contacted authorities yesterday (Thursday) who discovered that the money order was cashed in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The investigation continues.
