A 19-year-old Lincoln man was arrested after police found a small marijuana growing operation while investigating a robbery at his residence. Police responded to a robbery complaint at 2965 Starr Street around 4:30 am Saturday on a report that two unknown men had taken two hookah pipes from the resident, Danar Hassan, at gunpoint. While there, police observed fresh marijuana, hydroponic fertilizer and drug paraphernalia and were able to obtain a search warrant. Further investigation revealed three early-stage marijuana plants, lights and a fan conducive to a growing operation. Hassan was arrested on distribution charges while his roommates were both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The robbery is under investigation.Pictured: Danar Hassan
