Four Jailed For Shooting, Car Chase



Four people are in jail this morning (Monday) following a car chase that stemmed from shots fired at another car in southwest Lincoln. Police Captain Michon Morrow tells KFOR News around 10:30 last night (Sunday) a woman driving with another person reported being shot at by another vehicle at 13th and High Streets. No one was hurt and Morrow says officers found the suspect car at 17th and Harrison and tried to stop the vehicle. After a short pursuit, the car crashed into a traffic sign at 23rd and South. All four people in the vehicle, who are all from Lincoln, fled and were ultimately captured. The driver, 21-year-old Kyle Daniels, was arrested for fleeing to avoid arrest. Daniels, along with 24-year-old Nicole Alvarado and 19-year-olds Dante Shields and Shaylon Garcia, were arrested for possession of a stolen firearm and other misc. charges. Morrow says the shooting remains under investigation. No one was hurt.
