Not since 2010 have gasoline prices been this low. Super Unleaded fuel prices are now under $3 a gallon. It's not a complicated scenario; oil production is up and demand is down. Marilyn Muir with Triple-A Nebraska told our television partner 10/11 NEWS that domestically, North Dakota has turned into a heavy producer of oil. Plus, fuel efficient vehicles are reducing the demand. It also helps that the United States has about 10% more crude oil on-hand than last year.
