The senator who tried passing a bill two years ago that would have armed Nebraska teachers says he's not planning on introducing it again. Sen. Mark Christensen's original bill would allow teachers and administrators with state permits to carry concealed weapons in schools which generated a lot of controversy in 2011. Currently, only on-duty police officers assigned to schools may carry guns in Nebraska.
