Lincoln's Pump Prices Among Highest In State

Lincoln is stuck in the middle of low gasoline prices. Omaha to the east and Grand Island to the west are seeing pump prices at $2.99 a gallon. Lincoln's average price right now is $3.15 for Super Unleaded, 4 cents a gallon less than a week ago, but still 4 cents a gallon higher than the national average. Mark Whitehead of Whitehead Oil says it's all about competition, telling our television partner, 10/11 NEWS, even though Lincoln's prices are at least 15 cents a gallon higher than other parts of Nebraska, it's still the best alternative for Lincoln's citizens.
