A former Lincoln police officer, already in prison for stealing from the police union's Santa Cop Christmas charity, is accused of falsely claiming her ATM card was stolen. Withdrawals from Cassandra Briggs' account came from Florida. Briggs said she didn't know anyone in Florida, but later admitted that's where her mother lives. Briggs gave her the ATM card to help pay for her son's care while she's in prison for a 2 to 4 year prison sentence.
