A Bennet man is the latest victim of an accidental gunshot wound. Sheriff Terry Wagner said that the man was cleaning his Glock .40 handgun Saturday evening west of Malcom when it accidentally discharged, striking him in the left leg. His wounds were non-life threatening. Sheriff Wagner also said that it’s important to be careful when cleaning or exhibiting your guns, and to always assume the weapon is loaded.
