Three teens are in custody after they were arrested yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) for a carjacking in North Lincoln Monday night. A 32-year-old woman was assaulted with a handgun and then robbed of her vehicle. Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood said that a 17-year-old became a suspect after calling his relatives in Omaha indicating that he had just “run from the police” in Lincoln. Flood reported that he was found along with two 15-year-old accomplices. All three have been lodged in the youth detention center for robbery. The gun, later determined as a BB gun, was recovered.
