Hundreds of students gathered at Irving Middle School last night (Thursday) to remember a teacher they trusted. 51-year-old Everett Smith was found dead in his home Tuesday. Authorities believe that he died of natural causes. Smith worked at Irving for only 6 years, but considering the large turnout at last night's candlelight vigil, it was long enough to touch many lives.
