Nebraska Man Accused Of Motor Vehicle Homicide

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - A Grand Island man has been arrested on suspicion of felony motor vehicle homicide after a passenger in his car died following a crash.
The Grand Island Independent reports that 29-year-old Donald Webben was also jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the Thursday morning crash, which killed 22-year-old Anthony "A.J." Sabin Jr., of Lincoln.
The crash happened near the unincorporated town of St. Libory.
The Howard County Sheriff's Department says Webben lost control of his car, which rolled. Sabin, who was riding in the back seat, was not wearing a seat belt. A 21-year-old woman also riding in the back seat was treated for injuries and released.
