The Colorado State Patrol reported that a Nebraska man has been cited with misdemeanor traffic charges in the deaths of two highway construction workers south of Denver. 74-year-old Thomas Garrity of Bellevue faces two counts of careless driving causing death. The State Patrol said an SUV driven by Garrity veered off an exit ramp in south Denver on Tuesday, striking and killing the workers.
