Two People in Jail After Shoplifting at CVS

Two people are in jail, after one of them tried distracting employees of the CVS Pharmacy at 1550 South Street just after midnight this Thursday, while the other stuck a whiskey bottle down the front side of his pants.  Police Officer Katie Flood says employees stopped 26-year-old Jarvis Long and 30-year-old Mindy Falcon in the parking lot, since they didn't pay for the alcohol.   Falcon allegedly pulled out a hammer and started swinging, while making threats toward the employees. Both were eventually located at Falcon's apartment near 9th and Washington and used a search warrant to find the hammer and whiskey. Long was arrested for felony theft, since he has two prior theft convictions.  Falcon was arrested for terroristic threats.
