Rash Of Robberies Has Police On The Hunt

There have been 4 armed robberies at Lincoln convenience stores in 3 days. The latest one came last night at Casey's General Store, 70th and Havelock. Police Capt. Michon Morrow told KFOR NEWS that the man walked in with a handgun and orange ski mask over his face. He walked out with the entire cash drawer, which was found a short distance from the store. The robber is described as a dark skinned man in his 30's, 6-feet tall, and 190 pounds. He wore dark clothing. The description is similar to 3 previous armed robberies; one occurred early yesterday (Sunday) morning at a Kwik Shop on North 48th Street and 2 happened Friday, one at the Super C on South 10th and another at Casey's, 23rd and R Street.
