Those colored balloons you saw floating over Lincoln yesterday (Thursday) afternoon came from Cavett Elementary School. They were for Dayna Buss, who died last month from cervical cancer. She taught at Cavett for 14 years and her kids loved her. They wrote special messages on the balloons and released them into the air to honor Buss, who friends and co-workers said was born to teach.
