The Student Vote results are out. Each of the Lincoln Public Schools and several non-LPS schools participated in the vote and 62% of the 4th through 12th grade students supported President Obama. Democratic Senate candidate Bob Kerrey won 53% of the vote to Republican Deb Fischer's 47%. Republican 1st-district Congressman Jeff Fortenberry won 58% of the student vote. The results are not scientific and have no direct influence in the official general election on Tuesday.
