Pioneers Park Landscape Changed Due To Drought

It has been a bad year for trees in Pioneers Park. The drought has dried up hundreds of tall timber. The skyline won't look the same for awhile as more than 400 have been cut down since August. Parks Supervisor Dave Allder told our television partner, 10/11 NEWS, that crews still have about 150 more drought-stricken trees to remove. The hope is to start planting replacement trees next year.
