An 18-year-old went to jail this morning (Monday) for allegedly stealing a car from a car lot on Cornhusker Highway. Police reported that just before midnight Sunday, officers spotted a white Lincoln leaving a parking lot near Everett Elementary at 12th and B Streets. The car had been stolen early yesterday (Sunday). Benjamin Abney was jailed for possession of stolen property.
