Woman Arrested For Trying To Sell Neighbor's Trailer

This is another reason you should double check who you are doing business with through online classifieds: An Iowa man was looking to buy a trailer he saw on Craigslist and showed up Saturday to a home near Emerald to pay $2,000 cash for the trailer. The actual owner of the trailer showed up and told the man that it wasn't for sale and he never posted anything on Craigslist. They immediately called the sheriff's office. Lancaster County Sheriff's Captain Gary Juilfs said the buyer agreed with deputies to meet with the woman at a nearby truck stop. He said that 57-year-old Victoria Hebron admitted that she was selling the trailer and claimed it was hers. When confronted by deputies, Hebron allegedly denied owning the trailer and said she was selling it for her neighbor. Hebron was arrested for theft by deception.
