Chase Ends In Fatal Crash, Nebraska Patrol Says

LEXINGTON, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a vehicle chase in the south-central Nebraska city of Lexington quickly ended when the chased vehicle rammed into a pickup, killing the truck's driver.
Patrol Capt. Jim Parish said Tuesday that the chase began at 11:57 p.m. Monday and ended six minutes later.
Parish says the trooper noticed the first vehicle violate a traffic signal and tried to pull over the vehicle. It raced north on U.S. Highway 283 but soon rammed into the pickup.
Lexington radio station KRVN says the driver of the chased vehicle has been arrested.
Parish says he didn't have the names of all the people involved in the chase and collision.
