Body Confirmed As That Of Missing Nebraska Man

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - The body of man found in a western Nebraska reservoir has been confirmed as that of a missing North Platte man.
Lincoln County Sheriff Jerome Kramer told North Platte television station KNOP that autopsy and dental records confirmed that the body found Sept. 20 was that of 61-year-old Larry Sack.
The body was found by a fisherman at Sutherland Reservoir.
Sack had been missing since Sept. 2. His pickup and fishing pole were found along a canal leading to the reservoir on Sept. 4, and one of Sack's legs was found Sept. 13. Police say it had been severed by a boat propeller.
The autopsy showed Sack had drowned.
Authorities say Sack had diabetes and hadn't been feeling well before his disappearance.
