AG Appeals Contraception Coverage Lawsuit Dismissal
The Attorney General's Office is appealing the dismissal of a lawsuit that tried to block part of the federal health care law requiring contraception coverage for employees. Republican Jon Bruning's office filed the case on behalf of Catholic Social Services, Pius X High School, the Catholic Mutual Relief Society of America, a nun and a female missionary. Republican attorneys general for Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas are joining the legal challenge.
