Your flag should be flying at half-staff today (Tuesday). It's Patriot Day. Governor Heineman is following the national order to lower all flags to honor the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. One of them was Leonard Castrianno, working for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center. His sister, Lynn Castrianno, remembers her brother this morning (Tuesday) during Patriot Day services in the Veterans Memorial garden in Antelope Park. The remembrance starts at 10 o'clock. Retired Nebraska Army National Guard Lt. General, Roger Lempke is the keynote speaker.
