UNL 'Big Ideas' Seminars Begin In September

Do you think you have the next "big idea"? Well, a new series of seminars by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking for just that. The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources' Big Idea Seminars begin on Sept. 12 and will cover topics like landscapes, wind power and tourism. Other seminars in the series will be held on Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Nov. 14 and Nov. 30. David Jackson, associate dean of UNL's Ag Research Division, says the seminars are intended to get people learning and talking about different issues and generating new ideas, learning new things and coming up with new ideas for working together.
