LINCOLN -- More burglary cases are still popping up just outside of Lincoln. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says a neighbor saw a man go into a home near 98th and Van Dorn, where several electronics and $400 cash were taken. He says a black male driving a white sedan was seen leaving the house by a neighbor. Wagner says when the neighbor declined an offer to have his carpets cleaned from that man, the suspect walked away and left. Wagner adds they believe the man may have been checking to see if homes were occupied or unoccupied. Two other cases, one in Davey and another near NW 56th and West Davey Road, are burglary attempts that remain under investigation. Both those cases involved a white man.
