ABC News RadioWhile brothers and former band mates Liam and Noel Gallagher are both performing at Japan’s Fuji Rock festival this weekend, fans shouldn’t be expecting an Oasis reunion. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Beady Eye are playing on different days at the event, and Noel says that neither band’s management would allow them to perform on the same day.
“If we’re on the same bill…people start asking if we’re reforming,” Noel tells U.K. newspaper The Sun. “Or they’ll ask if we’re going to get on stage together and sing Digsy’s f**king Dinner. I don’t need that and I doubt he does either. I’d rather avoid it all together, thank you.”
In other Noel news, the singer has just announced a string of U.S. dates for his co-headlining tour with Snow Patrol. That outing kicks off on October 23 at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, OR.
