Serj Tankian Fights Facism in Video for "Uneducated Democracy"; Announces Tour Dates



Vahan StepanianSerj Tankian has released the video for “Uneducated Democracy” from his recently-released album, Harakiri. The four-minute clip, which you can see on AltPress.com, shows how society is affected by facism. It features a variety of scenes using Claymation figures and animation mixed with footage of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and Fidel Castro.

The video was created by students enrolled in The Tumo Center For Creative Technologies, a non-profit organization and technology school in Armenia, which Tankian supports and is on the board of advisors.

In other Tankian news, the singer has announced a handful of North American tour dates in support of Harakiri. The trek begins at the Vogue Theatre on September 19 in Vancouver and will make stops in Portland, Seattle and Las Vegas, among other cities. Visit SerjTankian.com for more information.
