Tyler Clinton/DoNotResist.comPapa Roach wants to remind you that they’ve got a new single headed your way. They've posted an online video that takes you behind-the-scenes of the shoot for “Still Swinging,” the first single from the band’s upcoming album, The Connection.
In the two-minute clip, Jacoby Shaddix explains that the idea for the video, which features the band on a rooftop in Brooklyn, NY, came from his son. “I kinda gave [director David Brodsky] a…rundown of what my seven-year-old son had told me about an idea for a music video,” reveals the singer. “We have a video that’s riddled with zombies. I’m really into zombies.”
“Still Swinging,” which was recently debuted during Tuesday’s Major League Baseball All Stars Home Run Derby on ESPN, will be continue to be featured by ESPN and MLB in select games for the next few weeks. The song will arrive at radio stations on July 24, while The Connection is due in stores on October 2.
You’ll get your chance to hear the song performed live when Papa Roach hits the road with Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and P.O.D. for the third annual Rockstar Uproar Festival. That outing kicks off on August 17 at Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone in Kansas City, MO.
