LINCOLN -- Hot temperatures mean spending more time inside in the air conditioning... unless you're homeless. The People's City Mission is encouraging anyone who needs shelter from the heat to come to their facility on the 100 block of Q street. And shelter isn't the only thing needed right now. The Salvation Army is looking for food donations. They say the shortage is caused by the heat and that donations are usually lower at the end of the month.
