Columbia RecordsJust when you thought you'd heard everything Destiny's Child had to offer, there's more to come. At least that's what Beyonce's dad and former manager, Mathew Knowles, tells the Huffington Post.
Speaking of his record label/management company, Music World Entertainment, Knowles says, "We still have our joint venture with Sony and in November we're putting out two Destiny’s Child catalog records with new material."
In addition to Destiny's Child hits, Mathew says the compilation discs will include previously unreleased material, too. And get this: there's even a chance for a Destiny's Child reunion tour. Of course, Mathew says that wouldn't happen after the first album release.
"It takes a year of planning to do these tours, but first it starts with the artist wanting to do it. And I think the ladies are still working happily in their solo careers," he tells the Huffington Post. The "hardest part," Mathew says, would be whittling down what songs the ladies would do, considering the number of solo and Destiny's Child hits the crew has accumulated.
