Kanye West, Pusha T Unleash the "New God Flow"

KanyeWest.comKanye West and Pusha T sparked a Twitter trending topic on Tuesday with the release of "New God Flow."  It's possible that the track will appear, along with "Mercy," on the highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer, due out August 7.

Pusha kicks off "New God Flow" with the boastful, "I believe there's a God above me, I'm just the God of everything else..." then rips through his first verse with lines like, "They love a ni**a's spirit, like Pac at the Coachella."  When it's Kanye's turn, he delivers the verse that he performed at the BET Awards 12, bragging on the success of his sneakers, rhyming, "Hold up, I ain't tryna stunt, man/ But the Yeezys jumped over the Jumpman."

Grandstanding aside, Kanye honors the name of Whitney Houston, and later goes on to bemoan "40 killings in a week" in his hometown, Chicago.  The song ends with Kanye's one-man call-and-response.  "I'm way fresher than all my foes (I'm way fresher than all my foes)/Somebody please pick out they clothes (somebody please pick out they clothes)."
