The audience at James Taylor's show at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts Monday night got two Taylors for the price of one when Taylor Swift joined James onstage to close out the first set of his concert.
James announced that he was bringing out a "surprise guest," though we've known officially for two weeks that it would happen, and it'd been rumored ever since James Taylor appeared with Taylor Swift last November during her sold-out Madison Square Garden show in New York City. MassLive.com reports Taylor Swift joined her host for a duet on "Fire and Rain" before intermission, and took the stage again during the second set to perform her own hits "Love Story" and "Ours" while James played acoustic guitar and sang harmony.
Taylor Swift left the stage to a standing ovation, leaving James to wrap things up with hits including his own classic "You've Got a Friend" as an encore.
Taylor Swift will appear with James Taylor tonight and tomorrow night for the remainder of this three-night stand.
