RobThomasMusic.comSince Regis Philbin left the building, Kelly Ripa has welcomed many different co-hosts to Live with Kelly, including a few musicians. Making his Live with Kelly debut next month will be Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas. He and the band are stepping back into the spotlight as they prepare to release North, their first full album of all-new material in 10 years.
Rob will sit next to Kelly on the July 20 installment of the show, as they welcome actors John Stamos and Carla Gugino. Unfortunately, he won't be singing. But you'll be able to see him -- and the band -- perform on TV come September 3, when they play their new single "She's So Mean" on NBC's Today show.
Also next month, Josh Groban, who's been a steady fill-in host on Live with Kelly for a while now, will return for the shows on July 16, 17 and 18.
