Sebastien Bozon/AFP/Getty ImagesJack White is sticking to his belief that The White Stripes will never get back together. “I don't think [a reunion] could ever happen; it's all done,” White tells Dutch news station Newsuur in a video interview. “But the lord works in mysterious ways so there'll probably be something better to come out of me one day. I hope so, I've got nothing better to do."
The singer added that he doesn’t take his music lightly and that his commitment to his craft is the most important thing in his life. “That's what I do and that's what consumes me every day,” explains White. “I can have a house and a car and have children, and I can go out to eat and do that stuff too, but it's all second and third place to what I've already given myself away to. I can't help myself."
White is currently on tour overseas promoting his debut solo album, Blunderbuss. He’ll return to the U.S. to perform at the Lollapalooza festival on August 5 in Chicago, IL.
