A rep tells TMZ that the Ferrari California, which has a $200,000 price tag, was a rental and he only used it for a few hours.
After the pictures emerged of Harry cruising in the sexy sports car, there was much speculation that the One Direction heartthrob, who just got his driver's license in December, had purchased it. TMZ even accosted a former boy band member, 'N SYNC's Lance Bass, and asked him if it was a good investment for a guy in Harry's position to splash the cash on such an extravagant purchase.
Lance's response? "It's a terrible investment at this stage ... save your money! Save your money! Invest in something that'll make you money!"
Looks like Harry has already learned that lesson.
