Al Pereira/WireImageSonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore are continuing their musical collaboration with Yoko Ono on a new CD to be released September 25. According to SPIN, the six-song CD YOKOKIMTHURSTON includes their previously released 14-minute single "Early in the Morning." The track benefits the Ashinga Rain House which is raising funds for Japanese tsunami relief.
The Gordon, Moore and Ono alliance dates back to their 2010 appearance together on stage in Los Angeles during a performance of the Plastic Ono Band. Gordon and Moore are continuing to work together after announcing their separation last October after being married for 21 years.
