Universal RecordsNew details have been revealed about 3 Doors Down's upcoming greatest hits album. Guitarist Chris Henderson says that the band will be recording three new songs later this month that they'll include on the release, which is due in stores sometime this fall.
“These new tracks are a little heavier, a little more modern, but it still sounds like 3 Doors 'cause no one can sing like [frontman] Brad [Arnold]," Henderson tells Billboard.com.
Henderson added that fans shouldn’t think the band is winding down or breaking up just because they’re releasing a greatest hits album. "Usually when a greatest hits record comes out people are like, 'OK, there ya go. You later, guys,' and we're not ready for that," explains the guitarist. “Within the year we'll probably start working [on a new album]. We're still writing songs better than ever, playing better than ever. So our career is still going."
3 Doors Down is currently trekking across North America on the Gang of Outlaws Tour with ZZ Top.
