Peter Kramer/NBCJustin Bieber has been planning a surprise concert in New York City to mark the end of his worldwide Believe publicity tour, and now he's revealed the location of that show.
A posting on Justin's Facebook page reads, "the secret show in NYC tonight is at the famous APOLLO THEATER where MJ once played with the Jackson 5!! For access NOW get to Macy’s Herald Square and purchase the new fragrance Girlfriend. #BELIEVE."
Justin also tweeted, "gonna give away some tickets there and right now if u get the new fragrance Girlfriend at MACYS in Herald Square right now! #APOLLO 2nite."
A Macy's spokesperson tells ABC News that the first 500 people to purchase Girlfriend will receive two tickets to tonight's show -- one for a parent and one for a child.
It's not surprising that Justin would want to perform at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, and that he would make a point of playing up the Michael Jackson connection. He recently told Billboard magazine, "Michael Jackson is my inspiration. For me, he's the greatest...and everything I do, I do to be the greatest."
Justin also recently compared one of his new songs, "Maria," to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," since both involve false paternity accusations.
