James MinchinLinkin Park wants to give you the tools to create a hit record.
The band has partnered with Open Labs and Dell Computers to create the Linkin Park edition of Music OS, a new software package that turns your digital device into an interactive production studio. According to the product’s website, users will be able to use the software to produce and share their own music as well as have access to LP’s exclusive library of sounds and loops.
“I would recommend Music OS to any music professional,” said mutli-instrumentalist Mike Shinoda in a statement. “For a touring musician, it’s the perfect tool for creating, organizing and performing live.”
The Linkin Park edition of Music OS is available now on select Dell computers.
