A 52-year-old accused sex offender is back in jail this morning (Thursday) for getting too close to children younger than 15. Our television partner, 10/11 NEWS has reported that Chad Eggebraaten chaperoned a Crete High School field trip while he faced charges of sexually assaulting an underage girl. A 14-year-old said that Eggebraaten spent time in her classroom the same day as the field trip. Eggebraaten's attorney argued that's not technically contact, but the judge disagreed.
